Re: JC de los Reyes on Repro Health Bill

to a forum in Marikina this morning to speak against Repro Health Bill, Congressman Lagman to defend it...when will this 50 year old debate end? What if we say, sige let's just limit population to 10 million Filipinos, who will those lucky ones be?...ironically I presume...those...who are rich and can afford to raise babies considered not a burden to society. (22 Sept. 2010)

if our society can teach the boys early on that it's NOT OK to play with girls and that it takes two to tango and that the pregnant result of sex/lovemaking is also their responsibility, then our society can be truly better.

Jesusa Bernardo what a generalization. babae na lumalapit sa lalaki. it takes two to tango. kung ako ba may.asawa at lumapit ang lalaki sa akin ay ok din kung papatulan ko?

Jesusa Bernardo in our society, that women can also approach men, kung totoo nga, is actually a good development. bakit ba dapat lalaki lang manligaw? pag walang lumapit, singlehood na lang. not that i can do it bec. i'm a product of the old tradition but ...for the young people, ok siguro yon.

anyway, the point is it takes two to tango at kapag marunong mambuntis ang lalaki, dapat responsable siya sa anak niya, tulad ni babae.

Jesusa Bernardo machismo society natin kasi. male parental responsibility, along with the female (na currently emphasized) ang dapat ituro sa 'sex education,' hindi lang yung biology part of it. pagkaganun, baka mag.agree si JC and bishops sa sex education in schools.

  2. TAGA-ILOG News hindi encompassing kung puro women's health perspective lang ang unborn babies. yung social aspect, (machismo gender culture), that is also responsible for some or many abortion cases, dapat tingnan din for an effective solution to the issue.

there is natural law and religious law and divine law daw. and HUMAN.created law (hindi lang man).

ang point mo is against religion. iba naman point ko, kung talagang iintindihin mo. gender roles imposed on our society being machismo kaya ma...raming gustong mag.abort (kasi niloloni ni lalaki).

    o sige,have a nice evening/day.
