Jesusa Bernardo i think making criminally liable the prosti patrons will work somehow, joel. not completely eradicate but significantly lower prostitution.
imagine how such law will deter mga BBY na ama na nagdadala ng binatilyong anak para "mabinyagan" sa ...pulang casa.
and takot siguro ng mga makakating may.asawa na na ma.TV pag nahuli silang doing the crime of soliciting a prostitute.

that said, i admire much of japanese culture. the calligraphy and all, high culture talaga.

i can understand they need someone to foot the bill for their cultural activities but going to bed with the patrons?
there are art patrons especiall...y in the past, but did it ever involve going to bed with the patron?
