RE: Pro-People Martyrdom of Bishop ALBERTO B. RAMENTO

‎"Bishop Ramento of the IFI (Philippine Independent Church) was murdered inside his parish house last 3 October 2006. He is known to be a bishop of the poor and an advocate of peasant and workers rights and for peace based on justice.

"After the liturgical celebration, we will have Kapehan at Talakayan for more information and sharing about extra judicial killings and disappearances up till the Benigno Aquino regime and on our migrant/refugee concerns."

  2. naalala ko ito noon. when i first heard it, alam ko nang may political angle. but in the news, pilit na sinasabing robbery lang with homicide, na no political angle nga.

    i was appalled then at the impunity of arrobo, pati taong simbahan di pinalampas. moreover, the catholic church leadership was eerily silent about the matter.
