  1. Jesusa Bernardo the statement that americans did not subjugate our people is most ridiculous lie. The Bald Eagle's that altruistic to come here only to spread knowledge/technology?

Golly, you should read a satire made by one of their own on what that America did to us, circa 1900:

    Lucky Filipinos.

It appears that the Filipinos have lost confidence in Americans.

Do these benighted wretches fail to realize what we have accomplished in their islands?

We may have burnt certain villages, destroyed considerable property and incidentally slaughtered a few thousand of their sons and brothers, husbands and fathers, etc., but what did they expect?

Were we to transport an army more than half way around the earth merely to listen to peace propositions?

    Not much.

    And look at Manila.

Two years ago the main street of Manila did not possess a single saloon. Now there are thirteen on this one street!

And they complain that drunken American soldiers insult the native women.

What do they expect from a drunken soldier, anyway?

Progress in now in those islands.

She may be red-handed, and at times drunk, but she is there for business.

  2. The Bud Dajo may or may not be bandits, but the chief bandit that displaced all bandits, the top predator bandits of 'em all was the Bald Eagle.

That Bald Eagle nation that conned Aguinaldo into thinking they're allies, into allowing the free entry of its soldiers into the archipelago when by their own reckoning, the revolutionary forces had taken control of much of the archipelago, and then doing that infamous Mock Battle of Manila. That Bandit Bald Eagle that stole Philippine Independence.

  3. Jesusa Bernardo: the bald eagle's the biggest bandit that displaced them all because it's the biggest.

i have no intention of using australian aborigines experience as standard of our luck. in the first place, the analogy doesn't apply. the australian, american indian, maori aborigines did NOT wage & win a war of independence. we did. we were already independent. no point of comparison re "luck."

but at least you're admitting to the banditry of that bald eagle nation, grace.

romeo, i know about the US Fed being privately owned. ridiculous & creepy, really. supposedly, jfk's assassination tied with his attempt to control the federal reserve somehow.

STILL, it would be gullible to claim that the american people in general did not want war. there was the anti-imperialist group but how much support did it get? even carnegie, who kindly offered to buy back our freedom in the end supported or went neutral re the invasion.

whether they were duped or not, fact is the american people largely supported or condoned the invasion of the our nation. take note that their representative senators voted to approve the was, duped or not. also, take note that they believed the wicked propaganda that we were tribal material.
