Crop Circle sans UFOs?

How does one really explain the tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of Crop Circle sans the use of UFOs?

Do US/UK militaries deliberately present hoax crop circle 'witnesses'/'confessors' to confound or kill the ET angle ?

(Narrator): Again, I'm in a fresh and newly appeared crop circle. I must admit the feeling is quite stunning. It's easy to see why people are quite attracted by these (crop circles). But what I don't understand is why the media don't seem to be attracted at all.

And our government and other governments have for years been trying to tell us that we are alone. And ridiculing all the people who've seen craft and had experiences. I think they are frightened to death that here we have fantastic evidence and they are doing their best to tell us that they are all hoaxes.

Even the newspapers of this country seem to be on it. It amazes me that reporters, journalists have under their noses one of the most fantastic stories ever and yet they completely dismiss it... It's as if they're frightened to get involved with it somehow.
